No surprises — just clear expectations.

1. Booking, payment & project acceptance

One service choice means one price: the Standalone Digital Invitation is $49 total. Essentials is $59, Signature $99, and Custom $179 for the invitation + event website. We do not add a second package after the customer chooses. Legacy Event Hub Only and Save-the-Date orders that were already paid remain honored under their original checkout terms.

The builder preview is a planning tool, not the finished invitation. Completing payment places your request in the paid production review queue. Sharing the Moment may decline a paid request that cannot reasonably or safely be delivered; if that happens before design work begins, the paid review queue closes the project and a full Stripe refund of the design payment is submitted. Once the project is accepted, work may begin using the information and files you supplied.

2. What counts as design work

Design work begins when we start creating, adapting, assembling, writing, editing, coding, laying out, or otherwise producing your invitation from the submitted brief. Essentials includes 1 revision round, Signature 2, and Custom 3. A revision round means one consolidated set of changes to the current proof. A new concept, major redesign, or new scope after work begins may require an additional revision or separate quote.

3. Proofs, approval & customer-supplied details

Nothing is intentionally published before you approve the finished proof. Please review names, spelling, dates, times, addresses, links, photos, wording, and event details carefully. Your approval authorizes publication of the approved version and confirms that the visible content is acceptable to you. If an error was present in information you supplied or in a version you approved, correcting it may require additional work; genuine technical defects caused by Sharing the Moment will be corrected without treating them as a new design request.

4. Practical live-detail edits

Supported practical information such as time, venue, address, parking, dress code, schedule notes, and day-of updates can be corrected after launch without using a design revision. Changes to artwork, typography, layout, theme, structure, or overall visual direction remain design work.

5. Cancellations, refunds & completed work

You may cancel for a full design-fee refund before design work begins. After design work begins, the portion already performed is earned and non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law. Once the first private proof has been delivered, the design fee is non-refundable because the core custom design service has been delivered; your included revision rounds and approval process remain available. Unperformed optional add-ons may be refundable. If Sharing the Moment cannot deliver a purchased service, the undelivered portion will be refunded. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

6. Payment disputes & chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us promptly so we can review it. Filing a chargeback does not automatically cancel completed design work or change the scope that was purchased. We may provide the payment processor or card issuer with relevant order records, checkout acceptance, project messages, proof-delivery records, approval records, and fulfillment history when responding to a payment dispute.

7. Customer timing, inactivity & deadlines

Turnaround targets assume the customer supplies requested content, decisions, approvals, and revision instructions on time. Customer-caused delays can move the first-proof, revision, publication, physical-product, or event deadline without creating a refund right for work already performed. If we are waiting on required content, approval, or revision instructions for 30 consecutive days, the project may be placed on hold. After 90 consecutive days without the information needed to continue, we may close the inactive project. Reopening an old project may require a new schedule or quote, especially if software, hosting, pricing, or event details have materially changed.

8. Hosting, expiration & third-party services

Essentials includes 6 months, Signature 12 months, and Custom 24 months of standard hosting beginning when the invitation first goes live. A 12-month extension is currently $24. Payments, email, internet access, DNS, maps, calendars, browsers, mobile carriers, and other connected services can depend on third-party providers. We work to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or delivery by systems outside our control.

9. Guest tools, RSVP privacy & communications

RSVPs, reminders, Guest Concierge, links, galleries, and other guest tools are provided as event utilities. RSVP answers and guest contact information are used for the event, host administration, and service delivery; they are not sold to advertisers or automatically enrolled in unrelated marketing. Transactional messages about an order, proof, payment, security, event, RSVP, or requested support may be sent as needed to provide the service. Marketing messages require a separate marketing basis or opt-in. We do not guarantee that every email or text will be delivered, every guest will respond, every link will remain available forever, or any particular attendance, gift, registry, or event outcome. Hosts remain responsible for keeping event information accurate and for decisions based on guest responses. Invited guests can use their private message-preferences link to stop or resume event email/text updates without deleting their RSVP.

10. Planning tools, outside fund links & printed-product quotes

Optional host tools such as date polls, RSVP questions, meal choices, volunteer/bring-it signups, seating, timelines, and thank-you tracking are planning aids; the host remains responsible for final event decisions and guest instructions. Charity, honeymoon, baby-fund, crowdfunding, registry, or similar contribution links open the outside provider selected by the host. Sharing the Moment does not collect, hold, route, or guarantee money sent through those outside links. Physical-product photos are style references, not manufacturer catalog promises. We keep the written product name, included quantity and approved personalization accurate, then source the closest practical vendor item to the pictured look. Supplier brand, minor proportions, hardware, shade or finish can vary with live inventory. We will not silently substitute a materially different product; if the closest available route would materially change what the written description promises, we will contact the customer before ordering. Physical products are optional. The Personalized Favor Pack is a curated fixed-price add-on that uses an approved low-cost supplier route and standard included quantity; premium products, extra quantity, or rush service are confirmed before any additional charge. Other custom physical print requests remain quote-based so vendor cost, shipping, specifications, and a safe delivery window are confirmed first. When a physical item routes through Sharing the Moment, the standard lead-time calculation reserves at least seven full calendar days for our inspection, handling, packing, and send-out time when fulfillment passes through us, in addition to printer production, carrier transit, and a safety buffer. A late request can be reviewed for rush availability, but rush delivery is not promised unless the vendor and fulfillment timeline are confirmed first. Catalog photos for physical add-ons are style references; the written quantity, product description and approved personalization control the purchase. If the closest available supplier item would be materially different from that written promise, we will seek approval before ordering. Personalized/custom physical items become non-cancellable and non-refundable once the approved personalization/order is released to the vendor or production begins, except where the item is not delivered, is materially defective, does not match the approved order because of our/vendor error, or applicable law requires another remedy. If an unexpected vendor or carrier delay changes the shipment timing before the item ships, we will provide the revised timing through the private shipment-decision workflow. The customer may accept the revised timing or request cancellation/refund for the unshipped delayed physical item. We record that decision with the order and process the available remedy consistent with the Refund Policy and applicable law.

11. Your photos, artwork, names & guest information

You confirm that you own or have the permission, license, consent, or other legal right needed to provide the photos, artwork, logos, names, guest contacts, and other materials you ask us to use. If submitted content depicts a minor, you confirm that you are the parent/legal guardian or otherwise have permission/authority from a parent, legal guardian, or other person legally authorized to permit the requested private project use. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of customer-supplied content. You grant Sharing the Moment a limited, non-exclusive license to copy, crop, resize, edit, transform, host, transmit, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably needed to create, deliver, support, secure, and operate the services you purchased. This project-use license does not transfer your ownership of customer-supplied content to us. Sharing the Moment may refuse or remove material that appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, unsafe, or likely to harm the service or another person.

11A. Baby Look Prediction keepsake

The Baby Look Prediction add-on is an artistic entertainment keepsake created from customer-supplied reference images. It is not a medical service, diagnostic tool, genetic analysis, paternity test, or scientific forecast, and no particular resemblance, trait, health characteristic, sex, ethnicity, or future appearance is guaranteed. The purchaser confirms that each adult whose photo is submitted has consented to that private creative use. Ultrasound images are treated only as visual reference; Sharing the Moment does not interpret them medically. Customers may crop names, clinic details, or other information that is not needed for the artwork.

11B. Checkout acceptance

At checkout, one compact acceptance checkbox may be used instead of repeating these rules in several large boxes. By checking it, the purchaser agrees to these Service Terms and the linked Refund & Cancellation Policy and confirms the applicable checkout statements already described above: the purchaser has the rights or permission needed for submitted content; has authority for any submitted minor media; understands personalized physical-product production and cancellation/refund limits when such an item is selected; and, when the Baby Look Prediction add-on is selected, has consent for both adult parent reference photos and accepts the entertainment-only, non-medical/non-genetic disclaimer. Optional advertising/showcase permission remains a separate choice and is not bundled into the general terms acceptance.

12. Optional 5% showcase / advertising permission

The regular package price applies unless you voluntarily select the showcase option. If selected, you receive a 5% discount and grant Sharing the Moment a non-exclusive permission to create and display a separate advertising-safe copy of the finished invitation in its portfolio, website examples, social media, or other advertising, including the customer-supplied photos/artwork contained in that copy only to the extent you have the right to grant that permission. The original customer project remains private. Before public use, Sharing the Moment strips private email/phone information, exact street addresses, private RSVP/guest links, passwords, QR destinations, guest-list/private-message data, payment details, and other private access credentials, then requires a privacy review before the copy can be marked Publication Ready. Event details appropriate to display in an invitation, and photos/artwork covered by the permission you provide, may remain where suitable. Leaving this option unchecked does not reduce service quality.

13. Copyright, templates, code & your finished invitation

Sharing the Moment retains all right, title, and interest in its reusable templates, source code, systems, workflows, design methods, reusable design elements, business-created work product, and other pre-existing or platform materials. Customer-supplied content remains subject to the customer’s and any third party’s rights. After full payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use, display, and share the finished invitation and purchased deliverables for the event and ordinary personal keepsake purposes during the applicable service/hosting period. Unless separately agreed in writing, the purchase does not assign copyright in the platform, reusable templates, source code, or reusable business assets, and those materials may not be resold, sublicensed, copied into a competing template/service, or represented as your underlying software. Third-party fonts, stock assets, AI-assisted assets, vendor products, and other licensed materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

14. Abuse, fraud & service termination

We may pause or end service for suspected payment fraud, impersonation, illegal content, security abuse, harassment, threats, malicious uploads, attempts to damage the platform, or other serious misuse. When reasonable and safe, we will explain the issue and any effect on the project or payment.

15. Warranty & liability limits

The service is provided with reasonable professional care, but no website or online communication system can be guaranteed error-free or continuously available. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sharing the Moment is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the service, and its total liability for a claim related to a project will not exceed the amount actually paid for that project. These limitations do not apply where applicable law does not permit them.

16. Standard agreement terms

These terms, the package shown at checkout, the submitted project details, and any written custom quote form the agreement for the project. A written custom quote can override a specific term for that project. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. Provisions that logically need to continue after the project ends — including payment records, intellectual-property rights, dispute records, and liability limits — survive. Material changes to these terms apply prospectively unless you separately agree otherwise.
